One of the induction stove pans didn't function properly, a letdown for cooking. The check-in process with the mailboxes could be confusing. Clearer signage and instructions would help newcomers. Lastly, the room could have used a better vacuuming before our arrival to.

The traditional tatami mats in the room added an authentic Japanese touch.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not operational upon arrival and took a bit of troubleshooting, making it a little uncomfortable initially.

Loved central heating, multi-channel TV, and a microwave oven in the room. The location was marvellous and favourable, close to a subway station. Plus the hotel was close to restaurants and bars.

Everything was great here. The room was clean with a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator. Location: the hotel was not far from a station and Nishiki Market. In the evening we went to The Old Spaghetti Factory, located not very far from the property.

the room was bright, cozy, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds. loved the separate toilet and shower rooms for privacy. convenient location near a subway station and various shops and restaurants. overall, a great stay.

I stayed in a spacious Quadruple Room with a private bathroom for 7 nights. The location was perfect-3 minutes from the subway and close to Nishiki market. The self-check-in process was easy, and the room had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The place feltnice and neat!

Staying at Guesthouse Miyabi was like a cozy escape in Kyoto. The location near the subway was super convenient. My room was quite spacious with a beautiful temple view, just as shown in the pictures. I loved the tatami floor and comfortable futon. It made for a homey vibe. The staff communicated well through messages, always prompt with responses. A couple of minor issues did pop up, though. The bedframe felt unstable and 'sank' a bit during the night, which affected my sleep. There was a persistent background smell in the room that required keeping the window open for fresh air, but it was manageable. The bathroom was clean and had all the essentials I needed.

It was just a solid selection for a mini-break over the weekend in Kyoto, with good value for money. The staff was helpful and quick to assist when I needed extra towels. Bring your own adapter if you need to charge devices, as there are no USB outlets available here.

I loved searching for the hidden heater to get hot water before a shower, said no one ever.
